The visualization shows how many neighborhoods operate on each trash collection schedule. South End (where Chester Square is) operates on the Tuesday-Friday schedule, putting it in the minority for collection schedules. This leads to the question of whether the Tuesday-Friday schedule is less ef effective than other schedules and whether this leads to increased litter around the park.
This visualization is about how long it takes the 311 service to respond to a litter reporting. It can be seen that the majority of points are below 100 hours which is approximately 4 days. This gives insight about whether the 311 service is actually productive or not. It also lets the user see for what kind of reports how much time is taken. One can brush on the extreme data points in the scatterplot to see what kind of report they are.It can be seen that sometimes if there are duplicate cases,the 311 service simply closes that report and sometimes people also make false reportings or wrong location reportings too.
Interaction: The scatterplot is brushable. One brushed, it highlights the bruhsed data points and a table appears that gives details about the data such as date of report, reason of report, case closure reason etc.

This visualization shows the total number of litter reportings from 2011 till present. The numbers are not many and this can make the neighbors more vigilant to report trash and not turn a blind eye to it. The x-axis represents the years and months and the y-axis represents the number of reports.
Interaction : The bottom axis is brushable and if one brushes across it, the chart zooms in and out making it easier to see how many reportings were there for a particular month of a particular year.
