Your responsibilities

Get a copy of the textbook immediately and begin the readings described in the Course Overview Readings page. You will be tested on this material on January 29th, the class after we finish the Overview. There is only one copy of the book on Reserve in Snell Library. If you drop the course within the drop period, you can return the book to the bookstore by January 20th and get a full refund; the book must be in original condition with no markings in it and you must have your receipt.

Sign up for the course mailing list immediately: because it will be the origin of all important information about the course, including notification of significant changes or additions to the course web pages, assignments, exam details, etc.

All course-related email sent to me at futrelle@ccs.neu.edu must have a Subject line that begins with csg120sp07 (grad course) or csu520sp07 (undergrad course). Otherwise I will not reply to it or act on it.

You are responsible for reading the course information page, and basically for all the course pages. I will send email whenever important additions or changes are made to the site.
