• Human-Computer Interaction -- Extending the Restricted Focus Viewer to track human attention shifts in web page viewing and in other contexts. (SG2001 paper). Work with Professor Tarasewich and with Chen Zhang and Stephanie Fillion (undergrads).


• BioNLP.org -- The world's leading website devoted to natural language processing for biology text.


• THEMATICS -- Predicting enzyme function from structure alone. This is potentially a huge step forward. Professor Ondrechen in Chemistry discovered a way to do this while on sabbatical at Brandeis University. I'm the "bridge" person, because of my knowledge of theoretical physics and biology. I'm focusing on the machine learning aspects of the problem, with Wenxu Tong and Professor Williams and and undergraduate, Chris Cieslik.
