Spectrum Literary Arts Magazine

The layout for this page did not take long to come up with, however, it is still under construction because most of the archives had to be rewritten. To gain more experience with styles, I decided to use CSS for the first time. All pictures were either taken from the old site, or from pdf files of the archived magazines. Buttons were made in Fireworks, and the title was made in Photoshop.

Software used: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop

Cauldron Yearbook

This was my first effort at designing a website other than my own. The picture on the main page was taken from the old site, but all other graphics were made in Photoshop. The buttons for the navigation bar were animated in Macromedia Fireworks. Looking back, I think this was a good learning experience for what works well and what doesn't in web design.
