• In my Ph.D. thesis work, I sought to simplify the control of semi-autonomous mobile robots by the use of deictic (visual pointing) commands. I completed my degree in the then-named College of Computer Science (CCS) at Northeastern University in September of 1997. I was advised by Prof. Jill Crisman, who directed the Robotic and Vision Systems Lab where I did my research.
• In my MS thesis work, I worked to automate the conversion of parsed scientific text into a knowledge base for further reasoning.
