Attach a tablet to an airline seat

International or Domestic Flights. Works with tray up or down.

Materials: Inexpensive tablet case (hard shell), 3 paperclips, fishing line.

Drill or punch small holes in areas shown. Feed fishing line through with about 5 inches excess.

Tie fishing line to paperclips and wind to adjust slack. This varies from seat to seat. Bend paperclips with line wound around them to prevent rotation.

Domestic seatbacks with no screen often have no hook to hang anything from. Fishing line is thin enough to fit behind the tray latch in these cases.
