From: "Eric Kindschi" : More information is available from PCChips, which appears to be the board's manufacturer. The M741LMRT information available at www.pcchips.com/product.html offers little more than Sybercom, so I downloaded all available drivers in an effort to research Linux support. The sound card is a C-Media CM8338; Linux drivers are available at www.cmedia.com.tw/e_snd_drv.htm. The network chipset is a Davicom DM9102. Linux drivers are available at www.davicom8.com/lan/dm9102.htm. The video chipset is made by SiS (it appears to be the 5595). www.sis.com.tw/driver/driver.htm states that SiS doesn't provide drivers for Linux but offers the usual array of links (www.xfree86.org, etc.). The IDE chipset is also an SiS product; PCChips implies it's the same chipset as the video, though I couldn't find much information on SiS's page. The fun part is that www.sis.com.tw/products/p2.htm lists THREE "5595" chipsets, all of which incorporate the PCI bridge, AGP video, USB and IDE controller. The modem is a PCTel HSP (K56 Flex device); some additional information can be found at www.pctel.com, though said info covers the chipset only (i.e. not how it was implemented by PCChips).
