When visiting a doctor for the first time, significant amount of time is spent discussing medical history of the patient.This session can run upto an hour much to the annoyance of other patients. With a patient activation application in place, patient can update his/her medical history prior to visiting the doctor saving time for both doctor and other patients. Doctor can then simply read the details filled out and ask for additional details when patient meets doctor in person.

When revisiting the doctor, again a significant amount of time is devoted to routine queries. These queries can be fed into our application and patient can fill out all the details before meeting doctor in person.

Waiting rooms can turn boring at times when there is a long wait or / and no one to talk to. Also elders may be comfortable with with using a telephone but not teleconferencing features. Our application can provide an easy to use interface where elders select person to talk to( Images of their relatives can be fed into the system by someone) and a teleconference can be carried out. Elders will also be able to leave their messages for the ones who may not be available online. They may also check messages sent to them since their last visit.Using the concept of message center, these messages can also be transferred to reciever's email or as a multimedia message to their cell phones and vice versa

Many of the patients might be migrants and non-english speakers. They would like to have an up-to-date information about the happening in their countries. Our application will present them with choices to read leading newspapers of their respective countries. Once user selects his/her country, our application can pick up latest information from the websites of those newspapers and present it in a readable manner.

Our application may also give user to play games, listen to music of their choice or watch old TV shows
