John Cheniavsky, Director, Division of Experimental and Integrative Activities, NSF.

John Cherviavsky received his BS from Stanford University and MS and Ph.D. from Cornell University. He taught in the Computer Science Department at SUNY Stony Brook from 1972 to 1980, served at Program Officer of Theoretical Computer Science at NSF from 1980-1984, and was founder and Department Chair of the Computer Science Department at Georgetown University from 1984-1990. In 1990 he returned to NSF as a Program Officer and then Division Director. He is currently Director of the Division of Experimental and Integrative Activities.
