New international students will need to attend two mandatory Orientation sessions with the ISSI (International Student and Scholar Institute) after they arrive on campus. The Visa Clearance session is required by government regulations. If you do not attend this session, you will be in violation of your visa and you will be dropped from your classes. The SEVIS training session will be extremely valuable in teaching you about federal regulations you will need to be aware of during your time at Northeastern.
