Applicants to the PhD and MS programs must submit the following materials:
- Application with personal statement
- Application fee
- Resume
- Unofficial scanned copies of undergraduate/graduate transcripts to be uploaded to the online application (Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended indicating degree earned can be submitted at the time of admission)
- Three letters of recommendation submitted ONLINE ONLY. We will not accept hard copies of recommendation letters.
- An official score report of the applicant’s GRE General Examination mailed directly by the Educational Testing Service to INSTITUTION CODE 3679, DEPT. CODE 0402.
- THE GRE IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE MASTERS IN INFORMATION ASSURANCE OR HEALTH INFORMATICS PROGRAMS.
- (International Applicants ONLY) An official score report of the applicant’s TOEFL Examination mailed directly by the Educational Testing Service to INSTITUTION CODE 3679, DEPT. CODE 78. We will also accept the IELTS in place of the TOEFL exam for Computer Science applicants only.
- Please note: An MS degree from a US institution is not a sufficient substitute for the TOEFL requirement. A valid, recent test will still be required in this case.
Special Student Applicants to the Computer Science and Information Assurance programs must submit the following materials:
- Application with personal statement referencing the SPECIFIC COURSE (or courses) you are applying to
- Application fee
- Resume
- Unofficial scanned copies of undergraduate/graduate transcripts to be uploaded to the online application (Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended indicating degree earned can be submitted at the time of admission)
- Two letters of recommendation
Special Student Applicants to Health Informatics program must submit the following materials:
- An official transcript showing your BS/BA degree or MS degree.
- Your completed Special Student Application (on which you will list the course/s you want to take). Click here for the special student application.
