Overview
Founded in 1982, Northeastern University's College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) was the first college in America devoted exclusively to computer science. We are continuing that tradition of leadership by building eminence in several key areas of computer science. We are also collaborating with other colleges within the University to expand our expertise in Information Assurance, Telecommunication System Management and Bioinformatics. As a college we can offer graduate students rich resources: a dynamic faculty, state-of-the-art technology support, wide-ranging research opportunities, and a challenging curriculum.
