EXTRA-HELP SESSION FOR FINAL: On Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in 366 West Village H, there will be an extra help session for the final. This is being led by the T.A. for the course, Jia Yu. In addition, I will have my usual office hours (Prof. Cooperman, Friday, 1:30 - 2:30). On Tuesday, I will be available at 3:00 (different hours). (On Friday, Dec. 9, the College scheduled a conflicting meeting, but feel free to knock on the door of 366 West Village H Friday, Dec. 9 from 1:30 - 2:30 for those office hours.)

The course directory contains the course syllabus,
and the mathematical review sheets, along with homework assignments, challenge problems (extra credit), etc.

There is an additional help session, from 6:30 - 8:30 on Tuesdays in room 164 WVH, starting from Tuesday, Sept. 26. The extra-help session is staffed by a grader, Manish Patel (patel.man@neu.edu). This extra-help session is in addition to my regular office hours (see syllabus).

There will be a mid-term, Thursday, Oct. 26 during class. I have timed the mid-term for 1-1/2 hours, but will allow up to 2 hours. There is a practice midterm in the course directory, also available directly from the web as pdf (37.1 KB) or dvi.gz (2.7 KB).

On Thursdays, beginning September 29, we started meeting at 5:30, in room 108-WVG (108 West Village G). This is also now correctly listed on the registrar's web page.

Please also note that the registrar still lists us as having no final exam. THIS IS INCORRECT. We will have a final exam.
