The tournament also included two game-playing programs I wrote, which is why there are more wins than losses in the table above. The programs I wrote did not play chess well, as their primary purpose was to give me an objective standard for judging the semester projects and to provide a couple of fairly weak opponents so every semester project program could turn in a respectable tournament record.
