2. Read all course documents linked from the bottom of the course webpage. You do not have to read the lecture notes yet—they are posted for your reference, normally at the beginning of each week. (Links to lecture notes more than one week in the future and to not-yet-assigned homeworks may not work yet.)

3. Send the instructor an email containing

   • your name as you would like us to address you
   • your degree program, major (if declared), and year
   • your primary reason for taking the course
   • any questions you have about the course
   • any doubts you have about meeting the prerequisites

   This email should be sent from the primary email address which you will use for all correspondence with the course staff. Yes, you may have already given some of this information in person. Sending it again by email will help us match faces, names, and email addresses!
