Survey of Graduating Seniors
Each year, CCIS surveys its senior class to determine where and what post-graduation jobs they've accepted, and what kinds of starting offers they've gotten. Some trends we've noted:
- Nearly 80% of CCIS graduates receive an offer from one of the companies with whom they completed a co-op.
- Nearly 50% accept that offer.
- CCIS graduates consistently exceed the national average starting salary for computer and information science graduates (National Association of Colleges and Employers survey, 2006). The national average is $51,000. CCIS graduates in the class of 2006 averaged $57,000.
- About one-third of our graduates accept jobs outside of Massachusetts.
