Maintaining Your Co-op Position While You Are at School

  1. Upon returning to school, attend an Upper-class Reflection Meeting. For a personal discussion of your co-op experience and your supervisor's evaluation of your performance, speak to your faculty co-op coordinator.    
  1. If you are planning to return to the previous employer than all you need to is to complete a Job Status Form and return it. 
  1. If you are returning to a previous employer be sure to contact your co-op employer: 
      1. During the fifth week, call your supervisor and company contact to clarify your date of return, duties, responsibilities, and salary. A visit to your company contact at least once during the quarter to maintain your company relationship is important.
      1. Reconfirm your starting date two weeks before returning.
