As a graduate of the College of Computer and Information Science, you are one of more than 3,500 alumni working in the professional fields of software development, systems and networking, artificial intelligence, and information science all around the world. We take great pride in your success. You are living testimony to the quality and effectiveness of the college’s academic programs and curricula.
Many CCIS alumni express interest in reconnecting with the college and in becoming more involved. If you have not done so already, please join fellow alumni in any one of the following activities:
- Create co-op opportunities at your place of employment
- Share your experience by being a panelist for our Overview Course or a guest speaker for the ACM and/or CISter’s student groups
- Target a gift to support our current students. We continue to create scholarships for our students (undergraduate and graduate), but we need your help.
- Partner with our faculty to support undergraduate research opportunities.
Keep up-to-date on what’s new at the college by downloading the Fall Annual Newsletters, which can be found in our newsletter archive.
We continue to hire world class faculty! Check out the video: Six Faculty Researchers, which highlights why our faculty have chosen CCIS, what they look for in students and undergraduate research opportunities. Please visit the the Faculty listing and/or go to our Research sites to stay informed of the research and activities that the faculty continue to be involved with.
Find your CCIS friends online in the Alumni Online Directory.
We welcome your suggestions for expanding our alumni outreach activities and look forward to hearing from you. Please contact our Development Officer, Jennifer Wong for more information or to discuss any of the opportunities outlined above or to suggest ways that you can make a difference.
